Anti-narcotics operatives arrest newly elected Sorsogon village chief

SORSOGON CITY – Anti-narcotics operatives arrested newly elected village chief here in a buy-bust operation in Ballesteros Street, Friday afternoon.

Sorsogon PDEA provincial officer Noe Briguel identified the suspect as Misael Hebres Larosa, alias “Boboy,” 48, who is the village chief of Sampaloc and 3rd in the rank in the provincial drug watchlist.

Report stated that Boboy was arrested after selling a sachet containing suspected shabu (crystal meth) to a police posing as a buyer in his own village. Seized from him were three pieces heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing suspected shabu, more or less 15 grams valued at P 60,000.00, one unit Honda Wave motorcycle with plate no. 5104 EQ and the marked money of P 500.00 on top of bundles of P 500.00 bill replicas with transparent plastic.

The suspect will be charged of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.( facebook photo)
